Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

If so, the MISSION TEAM can always use members and volunteers. Health issues and attrition frequently effect our numbers, and we are always looking for help. Please feel free to either contact the Church Office or Sam Jones at 624-7471.



"The board seeks to make the vision a visible reality through six major programs of missions and ministries. The six programs are Evangelism / Missions Services, Humanitarian Service and Justice Ministries, New Church Development and Church Redevelopment, International Missions, The Cumberland Presbyterian Women(CPW),and Special Services. The program design gives a better picture of the total scope of missions and ministries through this board, revealing the unified effort of all staff members and the oneness of mission.

The oneness, or wholeness, of mission is emphasized by the board's structure for implementing and coordinating all programs. Specific activities are assigned to the following four program units: Congregational Ministries Unit; Evangelism and Church Growth Unit; Global Missions Unit; and, Communication and Publications Unit."
