What is the MVP Ministry?

An evolving ministry in First Church that encompasses visits, phone calls, e-mails to shut-ins, hospitalized, nursing home and assisted living facility bound, inactive members, troubled members, visitors (potential new members) or as an outreach to those in need.


What is the MVP Shepherding Ministry?

As new members join the church a. Shepherd family or individual will be assigned to them to provide all of the information about tike church and the programs/activities that are available and to provide support and encouragement to participate, e.g. Services, Sunday School, Committees, Spiritual Growth, CPW, Youth Programs, CDC, Holiday Programs, Wednesday Suppers, Music Programs etc.


What is the MVP Chain?

The Membership Visitation Prayer Chain is madeup of the MVP Ministry team members. As prayer concerns are identified by members they are passed through the team Captains down the chain so that the collective team prayers request God’s blessings and help.


How can I help the MVP Ministry?

You can join the team members and participate at any level which you choose.For example if you only want be part of the Prayer Chain, that's O.K. You choose the level of support yon feed most comfortable with and can change your level of activity anytime you want.
